Meta unveils a haptic GLOVE that lets you feel objects in VR
A haptic glove by Meta lets you experience things in the real world. To produce a true-to-life touch experience, the glove combines sensors and actuators. Currently, under development, the glove should be ready for purchase Shortly
The glove was created with the intention of giving those with limited movement access to their surroundings. Additionally, it is hoped that the glove would improve the sensory perception of persons with autism or other neurological abnormalities.
At the TEDx event in Vancouver, the glove was introduced. The glove was allegedly inspired by the work of Dr. Henry Markram, according to Meta CEO Greg Brockman.
